About

Quiet apartment on the North end with everything you need to enjoy your stay on Tybee. Clean & inviting. We are .2 miles (couple blocks) to the beach, an easy walk. We also offer Concierge services such as we can pre-stock your groceries, decorate for a special occasion, arrange personal tours of Savannah & more. Request info from host. Pls note: House is divided into TWO units. Unit B is downstairs unit only. *There is not a dishwasher or washer or dryer. There is a laundromat close by.

Good to know

The house is divided into two units and there is NOT inside access from Unit A to Unit B. You must go outside to enter either unit. There is a nice covered patio area with a table & grill right at your entrance.

Other Details to Note

Please be aware of our rental set-up. Unit B is a downstairs apartment. Upstairs is Unit A. If you are renting Unit B, there is a possibility that there will be guests renting the upstairs unit at the same time so you could have guests staying above you. We ask that everyone observe common courtesy and be mindful of all guests. The City of Tybee has a noise ordinance which states you must keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 PM and it is enforced. This is a residential neighborhood with full-time residents who WILL call the police if you disregard the ordinance. Dogs are allowed (40 lbs & under) with a $50 non-refundable pet fee. PLEASE NOTE: you must inform us AT BOOKING if you plan to bring your fur baby so that you can pay the fee. If you bring a pet and do not inform us or pay the fee, we will charge you double the pet fee. Since we are allowing you to bring your pet into our home, we expect honesty when doing so. *Also please note: You could be charged an extra cleaning fee if you leave an excessive mess which causes our housekeeping to spend extra time cleaning. DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE BEACH at any time and there is a hefty fine. *We provide "start up" supplies such as: a few trash bags, a roll of paper towels, a couple of rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, a few dishwasher pods and a few washing machine pods. If you anticipate you might need more of these items, you are encouraged to bring it. We provide beach chairs and bikes as a courtesy and things tend to go missing and/or get broken so we cannot always guarantee what will be there but we try to keep it accurate. There is a pump for flat tires on the porch. There are rentals for chairs and bikes on the island if needed. Also, please note, we are located in the hot & humid south, near the water where bugs love to be too! Please be aware that you may encounter our local bug-"the palmetto" bug at some point during you stay. This is not a cleanliness issue but an environmental one and something that cannot be helped. The unit is sprayed on a regular, monthly basis. EARLY CHECK-IN/LATE CHECK-OUT INFO: Please be advised, during the busy season and holidays, we are on a very strict schedule with our housekeeping staff and appreciate your understanding that early check-ins and late check-outs will most likely, not be possible.

House rules

Who can rent: The person responsible for making a reservation, the "Renter," must be at least 25 years of age, secure the reservation with a major credit card that is in their name and occupy the rental property during the reservation period. We are pet-friendly (up to 50 lbs.) You are required to notify us AT BOOKING if you plan to bring your fur baby. Guests are NOT allowed to use the backyard for pets. The backyard is reserved for the upstairs unit only. There will be a $50 non-refundable pet deposit charged to you at the time of booking per pet (no more than two are allowed). If you bring a pet without notifying us, the fee will be doubled. Our cleaning fee will increase if there is extensive cleaning to be done outside of a normal cleaning both within and outside of the property. You could be charged up to $500.00 in damages. Tybee has a noise ordinance so please be respectful of the neighbors and obey the rules! Please be advised: We allow early check-in's ONLY with prior arrangements.

Close to restaurants & some shops. About a 3 block walk to the beach boardwalk. Nice, quiet north end location in small neighborhood. Jaycee Park is close by with a nice walking trail, playground, disc golf, picnic area and a pickle ball court.

Guest Access

Lower level of home and porch in front of unit. The back yard is reserved for Unit A and whole house guests only. If you wish to use the back yard, you must contact me first. The parking area for Unit B guests is the gravel area directly in front of the entrance. The concrete parking and under patio parking is for Unit A/whole house guests. Please park in your designed parking area.

We had a great week on Tybee Island! We biked all over the island to explore the different beaches and to watch the sunset from the Back River beach. With Savannah only 30 minutes away, we enjoyed the best of both worlds. We loved that the beach was an easy walk, and we were happy to have such a cozy home base.

This place was just what we needed! Cozy, comfy and clean. I was surprised with how large the bathroom was! Very clear instructions left us with zero questions. AC worked wonferfully and i loved there were ceiling fans too! We had everything we needed. Connecting to wifi was a breeze, the TV was very easy to navigate. Loveddd the welcome bag with all the info you need for a great fun filled vacation. I also loved the keypad door lock instead of having to fumble with keys. The bikes were a great addition. Also loved that there's a citronella candle on the patio.... Tybee's mosquitoes are a different breed! I was nervous about the sofa bed bed because....honestly, it doesn't matter what kind of couch it is, no sofa bed is all that comfy. I was so happy to see there was a mattress topper and it made ALL the difference for sleeping. I would definitely stay here again. Close to everything, including the beach with public parking.

This was located within walking distance of the beach but far enough away from the busy areas. The house itself was very nice and everything worked well. We really enjoyed our stay.

This was a perfect, cozy getaway spot for our beach vacation/wedding activities in Savannah, GA! Plenty of amenities with bikes and beach chairs, easy to get in/out of the house and town, and all for a very reasonable price. I was grateful for the hosts clear communication about check in/out, available amenities, and beach access... we hope to be back again!

It was a dream! Cute inside and out. The patio is darling and a great place to bring our dog. No pet fee or deposit as well! We will be back next year.

It was a wonderful stay. Walking in there was that fresh clean smell and not the musty smell you get from some beach homes due to all the humidity sinking into everything. The bed and towels felt more freshly cleaned, not like they may have been sitting for weeks after cleaning. The kitchen had almost everything you would need to cook comfortably. There is an IGA down the street and Kroger/Publix on the next island over. Within easy walking were shopping, rentals (golf carts and bicycles), food, and drink. The location was convenient to either the pier or the lighthouse with a bit of walking if you didn't want to drive. It is a unit with a house above you, so do keep that in mind as you will hear your neighbors above you.

My friend and I enjoyed our weekend away at the Tangerine Dream! It was exactly as described and super close to the beach. Having access to the bikes to ride to shops and restaurants was a plus. I would definitely come back!
