Other Details to Note

Tybee has a noise ordinance in place with quiet hours from 10:00 PM until 7:00 AM and they will issue citations for excessive noise. *We provide "start up" supplies such as: a few trash bags, a roll of paper towels, a couple of rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, a few dishwasher pods and a few washing machine pods. If you anticipate you might need more of these items, you are encouraged to bring it. Also, please note, we are located in the hot & humid south, near the water where bugs love to be too! Please be aware that you may encounter our local bug-"the palmetto" bug at some point during you stay. This is not a cleanliness issue but an environmental one and something that cannot be helped. The unit is sprayed on a regular, monthly basis. EARLY CHECK-IN/LATE CHECK-OUT INFO: Please be advised, during the busy season and holidays, we are on a very strict schedule with our housekeeping staff and appreciate your understanding that early check-ins and late check-outs will most likely, not be possible.

House rules

We require the guest booking at Peaceful Palms to be at least 25 yrs. old and this person must also being staying at the unit during the duration of the reservation. Six guests maximum per city ordienance. Also, Tybee Island observes quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Please adhere to quiet hours and keep in mind there is a full-time resident that resides in the unit next door.

Laurel Ave. is a quiet residential street with single family and townhomes and a short 10 min or less, walk to the beach. .4 mile to the beach.

Guest Access

Once you arrive at Peaceful Palms, you will enter the front door on the marked Unit B side (which is the right side if facing the complex). There is an extended front porch area in front of Unit A and that is restricted for Unit A use only. But there is plenty of private, outdoor areas for your use! There is an electronic door code on the front door. There is a garage area which is mainly used for storage and you can access it from inside the townhome. You will go through the garage to get to your downstairs screened patio and the courtyard area. Parking for one inside the garage if needed. There are bikes inside the garage, but these are locked and not for guest use. Tim's Bike Rental is right down the street to rent bikes, and they deliver for free!

So glad we picked this place. Location was great, love being on the quieter side of town. It was a good walk to the beach, but didn’t mind it. House was clean and so cute. I would stay here again!

I had an amazing stay at this Tybee Island Airbnb! The place was extremely clean, which made it feel so comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect for enjoying a weekend on the island. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, quickly answering any questions I had and making sure everything was perfect for our stay. It’s clear they care about their guests’ experience. Overall, this was a great Airbnb stay, and I would absolutely book again. Highly recommend!

Find us

Tybee is a small 3.5 long island so getting around anywhere is fairly easy. Walking, biking or renting golf carts are popular ways of getting around. If you rent a golf cart, rent early during the busy season and be sure and follow the rules or YOU WILL get ticketed.
