About

Located on the south end of Tybee, close to everything, the beach, the pier, shops and restaurants. This 2nd floor unit is part of a multi-unit complex and was recently renovated with two bedrooms and two baths. Upgraded, beautiful furnishings, bright and welcoming with a large, private balcony off the living room. Anchor Your Soul has everything you need to enjoy your stay and feel "at home" with a few extra touches!

Good to know

You will have access to two assigned parking spaces for small and mid-sized vehicles near the stairs leading to the back entrance of the unit, which is the main entrance. The front entrance will be on the other side of the building. The beach is only a 1/2 block away. All guests must be able to climb stairs, as the unit is located above the ground level. We do keep an assortment of beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, and coolers on site for our guests to use during their stay. There is a numbered storage area in the garage where these are stored. We do ask that all ‘sandy’ items be stored here to help keep sand out the condo. Enjoy the small details we have added to make your stay as comfortable and welcoming as possible. A snack basket along with a Welcome bag are just a few extras along with a beautiful unit that make this a great beach getaway! **PLEASE NOTE; our parking lot and our parking space is very tight and will accommodate small and mid-sized vehicles only. Large vehicles are NOT allowed. The parking area is tandem parking, you must park one vehicle behind the other. The space is approximately 8 ft wide & 81 inches from the ground to the deck overhang. While 2 small to mid-sized vehicles are allowed, 1 is preferred, and recommended. If you have any questions or issues about parking while staying, please reach out to the property manager for assistance.

Other Details to Note

We offer off-season discounts for extended stays (November-February). Off-season extended stays do require additional cleaning charges. Please contact host for more information. Ask about our Concierge service to see how we can help by taking care of your vacation details and planning. Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on site. Pets are not allowed. We provide "start up" supplies such as: a few trash bags, a roll of paper towels, a couple of rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, a few dishwasher pods and a few washing machine pods. If you anticipate you might need more of these items, you are encouraged to bring it. Also, please note, we are located in the hot & humid south, near the water where bugs love to be too! Please be aware that you may encounter our local bug-"the palmetto" bug at some point during you stay. This is not a cleanliness issue but an environmental one and something that cannot be helped. The unit is sprayed on a regular, monthly basis. We do not supply bikes, golf cart, or outdoor grills. Bikes and additional beach gear are available for rent on the island at Tim's Beach Gear. Golf carts are available for rent at several golf cart rental companies. Prior reservations are recommended. A golf cart counts as 1 vehicle for parking on site. Outdoor grilling is not allowed on site but is available at local Tybee parks. If you notice something is not working, contact the property manager immediately. If you damage or break anything, notify the property manager immediately.

House rules

Who can rent: The person responsible for making a reservation, the "Renter," must be at least 25 years of age, secure the reservation with a major credit card that is in their name and occupy the rental property during the reservation period. Our cleaning fee will increase if there is extensive cleaning to be done outside of a normal cleaning both within and outside of the property. You will also be charged for the cost in damages, and for all labor costs to fix those damages, if you damage anything, or for smoking or vaping on the property. By staying at our property, you, the renter, agree that you will be responsible for those additional charges/fees and that you will fully reimburse us within 30 days of being billed. Tybee has a noise ordinance so please be respectful of the neighbors and obey the rules! Lastly, please be advised: We allow early check-in's ONLY with prior arrangements and only if we are able to due to housekeeping schedule. If you check yourself in early without pre-arranging, you will be charged for an extra day. 2 small to mid-sized vehicles are allowed in our parking space. Large vehicles are NOT allowed. Large vehicles can be towed at the car owners expense since they are not allowed. Make sure to only park in our designated parking spots. Thank you.

Neighborhood

The building is located in the heart of the downtown Tybee area but far enough away to enjoy some quiet time. You can walk to the beach, the pier, shopping and dining. No need to drive at all! Of course, there is plenty of exploring to do at the north end as well. Check out the lighthouse and surrounding area.

Anchor Your Soul was perfect! It was close to the beach, restaurants, and night life. We could walk anywhere we wanted to go. The house was stocked with everything you'd need. We especially appreciated having beach items available (chairs, towels, etc) Jane was great to work with. The house was so nice. We'd definitely stay again.

We came down for the Beach Bum parade and it was our first vacation with just the kids. The condo was very clean and organized. We had some trouble working the A/C at first, but the host was very helpful in resolving the issue! We will definitely be back again for another stay.

Find us

Walking distance to everything on the south end. Renting bikes or a golf cart are other fun ways to get around the island. Keep in mind, there are TWO parking spaces that will accommodate small and mid-sized vehicles only. It is tandem parking meaning you must park one vehicle behind the other.
